2023 HOLDEN TURKEY TROT

Join us at Seven Saws Brewery in Holden at 112 Industrial Dr, Holden, MA 01520 for our Run/Walk/Wobble starting promptly at 8 am. Signs will guide runners and walkers to their respective starting points. For bib pick-up, swing by the Be Like Brit Foundation at 66 Pullman Street, Worcester, MA, on these days and times: Monday, November 20th from 12 pm to 6 pm, Tuesday, November 21st from 9 am to 6 pm, and Wednesday, November 22nd from 9 am to 3 pm. If those don’t suit you, no worries! You can grab your bib on Thanksgiving morning at the race, just make sure to arrive early. Shirts will be distributed starting Monday, November 20th to the first 800 participants who pick up their bibs.

The 5K race will both begin and conclude at Seven Saws Brewery; more details about the race course will be shared soon. Parking specifics will be announced closer to Race Day, and volunteers will be on hand to assist with parking. Prizes await! $100 for the 1st place female & male runners, and $10 Walgreens of Holden gift cards for the top female & male in each age group. Oh, and the person with the big heart who ensures everyone crosses the finish line last will snag a $20 Dunkin Donuts Gift Card. Age groups range from 18-under to 60-Over. We’ll have a limited water supply, so we suggest bringing your trusty water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the race. See you there for a fantastic trot!

The New England Botanic Garden is once again abuzz with the return of the beloved gnomes—and this year, they’ve brought reinforcements! These larger-than-life concrete figures stand proud at over 2 feet in height and weigh in at a hefty 60 pounds. Cast from molds right within the Garden, these gnomes served as blank canvases for artists across New England. With diverse proposals pouring in, these artists put their imaginative spin on these gnomes, infusing them with unique backstories and transforming them into captivating works of art. Using a spectrum of artistic mediums, these gnomes now embody everything from nature’s beauty and cultural nods to personal identities and whimsical tales.
